Xmas

I have been on break and I have been writing a lot which I'm very proud of so here's a new blog post.

For Christmas I got a beautiful black kitten and iPad mini which came from my uncle and I was very surprised and very thankful for. I got a load of clothes for my father, a 10th doctor sonic screwdriver from Dr. Who from my mother, and many other presents from other family members which I am very thankful for. 

I've been working on my Wattpad stories, including a new one call "The Discovered". I plan for the New Year's is too finished all my books that are on Wattpad which I know I probably won't happen, so I'm just going to finishing two. You can keep up with my book statuses on Twitter (@Gabby_Annette) I'll try to post a couple chapters or links at least on here. Sorry for the short update now I have to go bye.

Kitten Over Load

So on December 22nd I got a kitten and I named her Louie. 

Well the original plan was for me to get a kitten from someone else, but that didn't work out. So my mom took me to the Houston SPCA where we found a cute little boy cat. His name was Tommy Shaw. Well even though he was really playful, he just didn't like us so he kinda just stayed in the box. 

My mom told me she had three criteria of a cat for us to get it. 

1. Had to be a boy

2. He had to have short hair

3. He couldn't be too small

Well lets just say that Louie was only one of those things. 

So next to Tommy Shaw was a little girl kitten named Storm, she looked small and quiet but we brought her into the room anyway. And from the moment I saw her I knew she was the kitten I was going to take home with me. She's a little cuddles, even as I write this now she is curled up next to me sleeping.

Once Upon a Time (abc show)

Right so I was totally obsessed with this show this pasted season and it's flipping awesome and I never want to see Robbie Kay (Peter Pan) leave the show.  He's a super cool dude proven by his twitter because he has great taste in music and he actually tweets back at his fans unlike other famous people ( Ed Sheeran! Just kidding, I love that ginger!)

Chem Pre AP

So I'm rage'n at my Chem. Pre AP teacher because I told that woman that I wanted to drop the class and she goes and tell the counselor that she doesn't think I should drop the course! So now I have to wait till semester to switch and it is going to mess up my GPA so bad! Now I'll never get into the college I want because this stupid female! 

Rage done... For now.

What is this?

Right so I can't help but like feel this way right now. I mean instead if me being all thankful for my friends and family, I'm questioning everything about the people I put my time and heart into. The people I thought I knew; the people I thought cared about me. But now as I start a another year of my life I see that maybe I was wrong; and that maybe a move would be the best for me. 

My birthday was this past Monday; Nov. 25. And I am just another year older, another year where I didn't achieve what I wanted to do. Another year full of lying to myself, lying to others (cause lets be honest; very one lies) and being lied to by others. And well frankly I'm done. At the end of this year my mother and I are supposed to move and I couldn't stand the thought of leaving all my friends behind. But now, I don't see a reason to stay. After all, my friends don't need me; they defiantly won't miss me when they have their boyfriends and each other still. 

So with this new leaf in my life I am not going to lie any more, I'm going to be honest with everyone; even if it will hurt someone's feelings. And I'm not taking any ones shit any more. It's about time I stood up for myself, and let everyone else see what it's like have my shoes on.

Honestly this whole past month has been shit for me. And I'm done. This is me growing a pair and taking shit anymore. 

Question Time-

Would you be pissed if a friend knew it was your birthday and didn't say anything for days?

Would you be pissed if a friend didn't tell you they were dating a dude, but they told everyone else?

Would you be pissed if a friend started dating a dude and you knew another friend liked him mega time and ditched to hang with him all the time?

Band Competition

So in a post I mentioned that I was a band competition recently so this is the story of how that shizzat went down:

7:45 a.m. Clock wakes me up so that I can start getting ready for a quick morning rehearsal on the field. I press dismiss thinking that I am fully awake and ready to go, but no I lay my head back down on the pillow and fall right to sleep. I wake up 20 minutes later and I see that I only have 15 minutes to get my lunch ready and pack all the things I would  need for that day(aka black socks, headphones and music player and lastly food). So of course the first thing I do is jump out of bed and fall on the ground like an idiot. I crawl to the bathroom and get up to clean my face and brush my teeth.

I slap on some makeup, and try to put my short hair back as much as possible, that took one hair tie and six hair clips. Ten minutes to go and my wonderful mother made me breakfast so I had to go eat that, I managed to shovel all that food down and not through up. ( it was toast an egg and OJ, don't laugh I really can't eat in the morning cause I feel funny all day if I do) 

I make it to band 7 minutes behind schedule of when I wanted to be there. Thank goodness I still had ten minutes to be on the field, so I run and grab my flute and head out to the field with a couple trombone players, Nat and Jordan (both girls) I make it on time and I felt awesome! 

Then the directors get out there and we start doing our warm up and stuff! I did all that pretty well and we start on part one of our awesome show 'How I Wonder' and I didn't have to march that but I didn't on accident. xD 

So after all that stuff we headed back to the band hall to get ready, (btw I was totally watching my spot and my crush march the whole time!)  so we're all dressed and ready to go and an awesome clarinet player is making a speech and I was all pumped and stuff web in the middle of his speech someone called him causing his phone to go 'beep beep' everyone laughed, not at him though.

So onto the bus we go and I didn't want to look at my crush on the way over there so I sat two seats in front of him. Then I ate half my sandwich and grapes then fell asleep with Seven Nation Army cover by the Glitch Mob blasting in my ears. If you haven't heard that song I recommend it, but fair warning it gets loud.

So after about 30 minutes of sleeping I woke up and played some games on my IPod to pass the time until we got to the competition. After that things just got crazy. So since I didn't have to march I had to help out and all them do stuff. But I think what I should point out is the big fact that it felt like 1000 degrees outside. And we had our long pants on, thank god they directors told us we didn't have to have our jackets on.

So after carrying around a heavy thingy that makes sound, I was hanging out with the other people who didn't have to march, one being my good friend Nancy who plays the clarinet. Well we had to put the plumes on the hats, and those things are annoying! So we start putting them on the hats skipping every other person to get the job done faster, and then I go back to get more and see we're almost done except for a few brass players, and one sax player. The one sax play happened to be my crush so of course I tried I avoid him as much as possible. But I was the only person near him so I had to do it! I almost fell trying to get away from him so fast. On the bright side I got a joke from Kasey D. A tube player as I was finishing up, she said: "You forgot my hat." (Tube players don't have hats, hints the joke of the matter)

So after that Nancy and I went to et water with a bass clarinet play (Swimmy). She's pretty coolio. I like her hair a lot, it's like a pixi that's a dark purple-ish red; sort of like wine. Any way after that Nancy and I were told that we going to head over to where the pit was, only we had no idea where that was, and we would have gone with our group only Mr.L told us to help him with something that it turned out he'd isn't really need help with at all.

We got completely lost so I suggested that we just head back to the band, and it was a good thing that we did because Mr.L was in his way over to the pit with Nemo and the soloist to do a sound check. So Nancy and I hiked it over with them where we met up with pit, and Trevor. (Trevor is that butt face dude that Mar-Mar thinks is attractive and the dude I have Theater with.) So we got the Soloist to sound check and then things went into double time, all I remember before the show was holding Natalie's hate and her saying something about see black dots. 

During the show the people who weren't marching were standing at ease in a line, and all I can recall from that was looking at my spot being marched awesomely and my feet feeling like they had been set on fire.

After that we were all dying from the heat, but thankfully it started to rain and we head home after about four hours of doing nothing on the bus.

Now that marching season is over things are slowing down in band and picking up in theater, we are doing 'The Pajama Games' for our musical this year. And I'm hoping I'll be prop master for this musical like I was for 'Picnic'. Only bad thing is is that now I will only see my crush at the lunch table if I sit there.

Back From The Dead

So I've been dead for a month, and I decided it would be good if I came back gave an update on how weird my life has been! 

So let me just start by saying, all the sick people at school (colds and flues) need to stay away from me, I get sick really easily and I missed three days of school from being sick and now I'm sick again and it sucks butt. My head hurts and my throat is on fire. On the bright side this happened after I got to spend all day with my crush (he will never be named ever on this site). I had a band competition in Conroe and ever though I didn't get to march me feet were on fire from standing in one place for too long! 

The play Picnic at school we are doing is coming along very nicely, we had all but one prop, a bicycle we couldn't get from anyone. Our company is doing very well. Along with our cosplay company, we are having a our first full on meeting with our new members next month, and all I have left to get for my Aradia cosplay is socks and a skirt. I found some Snazaroo on amazon from only $8.99 wish is pretty good I guess.

I'm sticking with Chem. Pre A.P and WHAP because I'm actually not that bad in it, I get a little lost in Chem. but other than that I'm doing pretty ok. I figured out that I really want to do Jazz Band next year because I don't have any friends in band, and I think that will be a good way of getting more into band. Our marching show 'How I Wonder' is beautiful, even though it has a few imperfection according to the directors. I didn't think I was going to like marching because of all the heat, but when I'm not marching I'm really upset that I don't get to be part of that side of awesome.

Um I can't really think of too much that happened other then that. Oh wait! Ok so I think I mentioned before that I HATE math before, well my Geometry teacher this year is Golden and he's awesome! For real I got my report card and I had a 87 on it cause I'm that awesome!

Crazy Life Run'n

So like my world is about to hit the ground running and I'm not sure I'm going to be able to keep up!! These next few months are going to be a big challenge, but it's one in slightly ready for.

 

I finally have to drop Chem Pre. A.P. so that I can keep my Chem grade up. For some reason I'm not doing too well in English; a subject I rock. And I'm make 'A's and 'B's in math; a subject I've been fail at all my life! WHAP is pretty easy, but I have a constant problem with falling asleep in the class xD 

In theater we just organized the whole department! Props 1&2 are in tiptop shape, I can't wait till next year when we get a new auditorium! Really that's it, now that we've started concert season in band I can relaxe and for on school a bit more and start working on Musical stuff! :)

Story Time!!! ~Trevor~

 So I was walking in the hallway when a guy friend of mine from Theater and Band walks up behind me and says.

"Where are you going band?" ~ Trevor

And I instantly thought he was an idiot because we have band together, but he had really just called me 'Band'. So according to brilliant Trevor my name is 'Band' and I go to a class called 'Gabby'... Silly boy. 

I continually laugh at him about this and told my friend Mar-Mar. (Though she refers to him as 'attractive man-boy') it was funny... I'm not weird! You just had to be there!!! 

Also on Monday after rehearsal I had Trevor help me put up the props... And I tripped on the stairs we built for Mrs. Potts' house. Despite what Trevor says I did not   trip on thin air, the bottom of on one of the suitcases I was putting up hit the stairs and I hurt myself..... My ear started bleeding due to the impact the suitcase it  with. Needless to say He laugh at me the whole time... That butt face monkey!

Busy Life

Hey sorry for bring so MIA recently, but with school back on life hey been a blur! When I started Marching band camp at the end of summer time just sped up and hasn't slowed down since. On a bright side I became Prop Master for Klein Drama's production of Picnic by someone what another... It's a great play.

I also recruited (with my friend MarMar) two new members for my Cosplay Company DereDere Cosplay (aka the DDC) a young Chandler (female) and Danielle (female.. Sorry if I spelled that wrong) and I guess we have a new Male cosplayer we added, his name is Ryan. So all in all we have Kotah, Jamey, JJ, MarMar, Chandler, Danielle, Ryan and myself in the company so far! Right now we're on a Homestuck Cosplay quest! I will be the lovely Aradia and Jade! 

And finally marching band news! Nothing new here in this department, I mean we finally are learning our 2nd and 3rd drills for our half time show. We had 3 games and this coming Friday will be our first home game at our field. I hope I'll be marching, this past games was the only one I didn't march. 

And Theater; our lovely department had a laser game that I couldn't make it to on Friday night because I had homework, and lots of it I should say. I still have to write up a lab report for Chem. Pre A.P. that class is driving me mad!

Really important question: If you (a girl or guy) had a friend who like the same person as you, but you never told that friend or the person that you like them, would stop perusing them? *( I might do a vote thing for that later)*

Musical Soulmate

Ok, so I just finished watching Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist and oh my gosh, I am in dire need of a musical soulmate like Norah had with Nick.

If you haven't seen that movie, it should be on your must see list. It's cute and just awesome. 

I also wish that Vampire Weekend or someone would be like a Where's Fluffy type of thing where they make their true die hard fans look for them at 4 o'clock in the morning. Because who wouldn't get up at 4 in the morning and look you a band they worship?

Story Time

One time I was sitting in a room waiting for someone when I person I knew walk into the room... I quickly reached for a book so they couldn't see my face. I sat in my seat as they came over to me, I looked up from my book as I was really staring at my lap instead looking at the random pages the book was opened to.

"Whatcha reading?" He asked.

It wasn't till I looked for the title that I realized it was upside down.
